The eagle became the official symbol of the country in 1782. It has an olive branch (symbol of peace) and arrows (symbol of strength)
The US Capitol stands on Capitol Hill at the east end of the National Mall. It serves as home for Congress. It is also a museum of American art and history

The Empire State Building was built in 1931 and is considered the ultimate American skyscraper. It is 381 meters tall and consists of 102 stories of office space. There are also public viewing platforms and a radio and television mast.
Mount Rushmore is a national memorial opened in 1925. It is located in the Black Hills and features the heads of US Presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, and Theodore Roosevelt. Each face is 20m tall.
Niagara falls is located on the Niagara River on the border between Canada and the US. It was formed about 12,000 years ago and consists of two waterfalls: the Horseshoe Falls(57m high) and the American Falls (55m high).
